We’re pleased to bring back The Raven festival for its third year at Chase Park. Join us June 18-20 for this unique festival aimed at providing funds to rebuild the playground at the park and to benefit Community Building Tutors, a program that provides free tutoring to youth at Chase. Come out and play! Enjoy three nights and two full days of live entertainment and local restaurants, as well as area artisans.
The Raven will appeal to any age. Families can enjoy the KidzNest filled with live entertainment, jumpies, a petting zoo, face painting and much more. Adults can stick around for live music, food and beer well into the night! Don't miss this second annual event.

Cornhole Tournaments
The Third Annual Ravenswood Cornhole Tournament will take place on Saturday, June 19th, at the Raven. The Raven will host both competitive and non-competitive tournaments. A trophy presentation will occur at the completion of each the tournament and cost of entry must be paid at the event. All proceeds support Community Building Tutors tutoring program at Chase Park. Please sign up before 5:00pm on Friday June 18th to reserve your spot.
There will be two divisions for the tournament: competitive and non-competitive. The competitive tournament is the American Cornhole Association-sanctioned doubles tournament (double-elimination) which will begin Saturday between 3:00 and 4:00PM. There is a cap of 32 teams, so register asap! There is a $20 entry fee, and first/second place will be awarded trophies and a small cash prize, as well as recognition as the premier cornhole team in Ravenswood!
The non-competitive tournament will be a single-elimination doubles tournament on Saturday also beginning between 3:00 and 4:00PM. There is also a 32 team maximum, with a $10 entry fee. Friend of the Park Award
The Raven Committee is proud to continue our tradition of honoring distinguished community members at the Raven Festival. Believing that strong communities are built and maintained by strong and dedicated individuals, The Raven Committee is committed to using our festival to celebrate these special individuals. Each year the Friend of the Park Award is given to a community member(s) who exemplifies the values we believe are paramount to the continued growth and prosperity of our community, mainly: Generosity, Awareness, and Dedication.
So many people have and continue to play an important role in making the Ravenswood community the best it can be. We think it is high time to start celebrating the selfless work of those individuals!
Acceptance of nominations will close June 11th and the selected individual(s) will be presented an award on June 19th at the Raven Festival between 2-4pm. People can be self-nominated or nominated by others. All nominations must be submitted electronically by using the form below.

Volunteers
The Raven could not be a success without the dedication and generosity of the hundreds of volunteers it takes to man the event. We need volunteers for gates, ticket booths, beer (must be 21)/beverage stations, Kidz Nest, as well as general help for set-up and tear down. Volunteer a few hours, then stick around and have some fun! Complete this online form to register.
